Don't Let The Grinch Steal Your Christmas

Christmas Disasters Happen! There is never a good time for things to go wrong but the worst time has to be at Christmas.

Here are a few tips that will help you avoid Christmas disasters or ease the pain if the worst should happen.

If you have been given or been lucky enough to receive any items of jewellery, watches, photographic or electrical equipment or other gadgets don’t forget to tell us so that we can add them to your policy.
Take extra precautions with security, especially as opportunist thefts increase during the festive season.
Don’t leave decorative lights on when you leave the house or when you retire for the night. And remember to blow out all those Christmas candles when you go to bed.
Leave the heating on low or drain your systems down if you are going away over the Christmas period.
If you are going away for a few days we recommend asking a neighbour or relative to check your home and move any post or papers.
If you are travelling abroad for the Christmas period don’t forget to arrange travel insurance.
