Whilst I’ve been putting this blog together on the British Social Season the log fire is on and the family are preparing the Roast dinner. There are predictions of heavy snow forecast although it never seems to quite make it down here in Southampton.

I began to reflect on last summer and the social season events I say I’m going to do but always seem to be reaching their conclusion before I realise they have even started.
